Bernarda Škrabar Damnjanović is a certified international investigator, currently completing her Ph.D. She is a recipient of the "Successful Graduate" award from the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security. As a distinguished professional, she serves on the detective examination commission, is a member of the Management Board of the Detective Chamber of the Republic of Slovenia and is the first chairperson of the supervisory committee over detectives, as well as the first DPO. Bernarda has been honored with the title of "Ambassador of Knowledge," has been a TEDx speaker, and has organized the international detectives' congress in 2017 and 2023. Additionally, she is the honorary dean of the Summer Detective School in Bucharest and a member of the executive board of the Council of International Investigators, USA. She lectures at the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security. 

Bernarda owns one of the most powerful detective agencies in Slovenia, specializing in providing detective services for business and private clients. Her professional path began at the High School of Police and Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, followed by the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security, where she completed her bachelor's, master's, and doctoral studies with an average grade of 10.00. 

She emphasizes the importance of education and knowledge transfer both for herself and her team, ensuring they stay abreast of trends and innovations in detective and security work. Serving as a mentor to younger detectives, she upholds high ethical standards and has received an award for ethical leadership. Her agency, renowned for international investigations, has received various awards and certificates for good organizational energy, credit excellence, and commitment to fair business practices. Notably, it is the first detective agency to sign the Corporate Integrity Guidelines and the Declaration of Fair Business – documents typically signed by large companies. Since 2015, her detective security agency has been publishing the professional magazine "Under the Magnifying Glass." She leads a broad and trustworthy multidisciplinary team, many of whom have been with her for over a decade. 

Bernarda has been a detective since 2006 and is the author of a detective handbook. She has completed training at the Academy for Corporate Integrity, holds a certificate as a member of supervisory or management boards, and is also qualified as a mentor for student internships. Additionally, she has signed the Charter of Diversity. Bernarda's academic journey is marked by extensive and diverse studies across multiple disciplines critical to security and investigation. She has acquired deep knowledge in forensic psychology, criminology, forensic sciences, and economic espionage. Her expertise extends to business-security culture, criminal profiling, and crime prevention, ensuring public safety. 

Bernarda is well-versed in security process management, private security, critical thinking, research methodologies, and statistical methods. Her legal knowledge spans constitutional and criminal law, administrative law, and international law. Additionally, she has studied management, organizational behavior, psychopathology, police work theory, traffic security, and security technology.
